Zainab, Keira and Lucy meet by an ancient tree. Its roots stretch deep into the earth and its branches reach towards the impossibility of the future. Someone’s just had sex for the first time, someone just needs decent GCSEs, and someone’s going to get hurt. Playfight explores the glories of female friendship, burgeoning sexuality, first love, and adolescent desire in a landscape of increasing sexual violence.
